We play here day and nite
My triangle and I

You may say, "why the triangle?"
"What new angle can you share?"
That's a hard ask, for it's quite a task
To be playin' round in circles
When you're stuck inside the square

I was hangin' at a party
When suddenly this band
Turned up and said "Hey Marty"
And put a triangle in my hand

Never played before this thing
I swear…not one damn single ping
But the music, it was playin'
And the people, they were swayin'
So I had to ding ding ding

The music got loud
The party got strong
I found a way to groove along
And as I played to every song
It made me feel like I belong

Surely you have heard
This triangle thing's much of a toy
And it purely sounds absurd
To bang and ding with such pure joy

So, let me once and for all settle
The discussion here and now
It's the lightest heavy metal
In percussion…and sounds wow!

Wish I was doin' it for the mun
But I'm only here for the fun
(And it ain't hurting anyone!)

There'll be no repercussion,
If you're rushing through this site
But know this, and you'll find bliss
Life's so neat when you can beat
A shiny tiny triangle all night

So I make videos
And pen musings
It gets me through
My life's bruisings
(Many of my own choosings)

It's an idiopathic obsession
In my spiritual progression
It's cathartic self-expression
And emphatic joy, of course!

It sure sounds like a parody
But it's assuredly sound therapy
It helps me through anxiety
Depression and divorce
(And connects me with my source)

So, I strive to play in time
And I thrive when my thoughts rhyme
And I jive when lost in rhythms
That help heal my paroxyms

I ain't got much more to say
(But I'll say it anyway)
I hope y'all feel okay
With the way I choose to play
